When it comes to landscape photography, coastal areas are where my main passion lies and is where I started in nature photography. Theres somthing about water, reflections and the golden light of dawn or late afternoon that just speaks to me.
The Dorset Coastline is the best I have ever worked with, especially in the south of England. Its rocky and craggy outlines provide fantastic opportunities for composition.
Hampshire doesn't have a much of an intersting Coastline, especially when compared to the craggy coast of neighbouring Dorset. It does however have the odd little places of interest for coastal landscape photography.
Theres some great landscape and coastline around North Devon and I have intentions of revisiting to capture more of it.
I haven't speant a lot of time in Somerset but I have plans to return in the near future to increase my portfolio size. The coast around Somerset provides some nice compositional aspects, especially combined with the light during the late afternoon.
