I've always found inland landscape photography quite a challenge, especially in my local area of The New Forest where there is a lack of any serious elevation and photogentic scenes.
Recently I've made a promise to myself to start do some more scouting and to force myself out for some sunrises and sunset landscape work, rather than bailing out of planned landscape shoot at the last second to head somewhere on the Dorset coast.
Dorset has plenty of amazing landscapes. Hills, woods and valleys - its just a case of finding the best spot and waiting for the right light to capture them.
Of all my landscape trips out, my home County of Hampshire is my least photographed. Its something I intend to correct in the near future.
North Devon and Exmoor has some amazing landscapes. I plan for numerous return visits in the hopefully not too far future.
Snowdonia is the most beautiful place I have visited in the UK with my camera. However I have yet to realise this wonderful places full potential.
Altough The New Forest is in Hampshire, I've setup a seperate gallery for my New Forest landscape photography.
A collection of landscape photography from the county of Wiltshire. I need to find some new spots in this gorgeous location.
