Over the years i've become a very keen wildlife, landscape and nature photographer. Starting out in 2006 when I first caught the photography bug, i've dedicated most of my free time to travelling to new locations in order to find inspiring landscapes and wildlife.
Being based in The New Forest, Hampshire, I have no shortage of wildlife or natural surroundings. However its quite rare that I shoot locally now as I prefer the Dorset coastline and the elevation of other areas such as Snowdonia.
Over the years I have had my work published in a few publications including in the Hot Shots section of Digital Camera magazine on three occasions. I was also commended in the Sony World Photography Awards 2008, and made the shortlist for Landscape Photographer of the Year 2009.
In terms of kit - I have always favoured Nikon equipment. I hold their glass and cameras in such high regard, that when i'm out in the field I sport an official Nikon Photographers vest with a big Nikon logo embroided on the back.
